The Opportunity:
Due to commence mid-June 2023 the Aircraft Maintenance Traineeship is for candidates interested in developing a career in aircraft maintenance. The duration of the training programme is 27 months broken down as follows:
Qualifications:
On successful completion of the course, you are qualified to work as an Aircraft Mechanic and can apply for your EASA Part 66 Category A Aircraft Maintenance Licence.
About PAM Ireland:
PAM Ireland is Ryanair’s first heavy maintenance facility in Ireland. Established in May 2022 the company supports the maintenance of Ryanair's growing Boeing 737 NG and MAX fleet and is located in a 3-bay hangar in Shannon, Co. Clare. The facility employs highly skilled aircraft engineers, mechanics, and support staff.
Requirements
The ideal candidate:
The ideal candidate will have successfully completed their Junior Certificate or equivalent and have an interest mechanics, engineering and working in a ‘hands on’ role.
At present this course is only available to candidates with Irish, EU, UK citizenship - i.e. those with valid permission to access the labour market in Ireland.
