Winthrop specialises in providing turnkey data centre solutions, providing services from design, through to construction across the full range of civil, structural, architectural, mechanical and electrical services as well as commissioning. As an engineering focused organisation, Winthrop has grown to become one of the leading and most trusted companies in our sector. We are currently constructing multiple turnkey data centre projects in 9 different European countries, equating to over 311MW of IT load in flight.

We are pleased to announce that we have a vacancy for an Administrator to join our team at our head office in Ballymount, Dublin 22. This position will be office-based five days per week in Ballymount.

Responsibilities

We are looking to hire an energetic, enthusiastic, and ambitious person for the position of Administrator. This role would suit someone who wants to gain valuable experience in a busy office and who is enthusiastic to learn and grow within the company. The candidate will be carrying out ad hoc office duties, data entry and general administrative tasks and projects as assigned.

The role will see the successful candidate work across multiple departments assisting with day-to-day office tasks, including the Travel amp; Accommodation Department. You will provide support with regards to the accommodation requests of employees and executives in a timely manner, according to project schedules. You will assist our Travel Coordinator with arranging hotel reservations, coordinating with landlords and estate agents while also assisting with logging and maintaining all accommodation records, spreadsheets and calendars.

This position will also require you to cover the reception desk from 1-2pm and 4-5pm on a daily basis and also during holidays.

Requirements

  • Strong administration skills;
  • PC literate with a strong level of competency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook. Strong Excel skills of particular importance - we can provide additional training, but a good base level of Excel experience is required;
  • Experience in social media planning;
  • Excellent telephone manner;
  • Attention to detail;
  • Reception desk coverage from 1-2pm and 4-5pm on a daily basis and cover during holidays;
  • Ability to multitask and work under pressure;
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills;
  • Pride in the quality and presentation of work;
  • Excellent communication skill;
  • Fluency in English (both spoken and written);
  • At least one year of office experience;
  • Complete the day-to-day processing of orders in line with company procedures;
  • Excellent time management skills, ability to multi-task and prioritise;
  • Attention to detail and problem solving;
  • Highly motivated, ambitious, hardworking, passionate and love what you do;
  • A team player. Honest, trustworthy, and reliable;
  • Ability to work flexible days and hours in the office;
  • Any other duties as required.
