Job Description

Every member of the CPM team contributes to the overall growth of our business. People are at the core of CPMs business proposition so as a key member of the QSP team this role is expected to make a significant contribution to delivering value for our Client demonstrating initiative to drive best practice and continuous improvement. A can-do attitude combined with a customer-centric focus is essential for success in this role.

This role will involve working in an individual territory as part of the QSP Dispense team in the Republic of Ireland on trade sector. The primary purpose of the role is to carry out dispense line cleaning and equipment maintenance/repair including a slot on every dispense call to complete a variety of key tasks e.g. Sales, data collection, price surveys, technical checks etc.

One of the key priorities is to represent Diageo in a professional manner and to deliver their trusted quality programme in the On-Trade sector.

The Primary Responsibilities for This Role Are:

  • The Dispense Rep will be the sole Diageo representative calling into ‘Bronze’ outlets and will be expected to be the main sales point of contact for the outlet, with tasks inclusive of but not limited to:
  • To generate new ideas and ways of working;
  • To consistently strive to reach highest standards of performance for customers;
  • To ensure at all times that you operate in an effective and efficient manner to complete all tasks;
  • To undertake any other duties and responsibilities as instructed by your line manager.
  • Close distribution gaps for Diageo products where they exist across MPA and spirits
  • Sell in all relevant innovations or quality initiatives as directed
  • Implement new branding initiatives as they occur
  • Use the Diageo Way of Selling to increaser distribution and visibility of brands in outlet
  • Maintain knowledge on all new and existing products and services from competitors
  • Deliver effective sales support to existing ‘Bronze’ on-trade customers within the journey plan
  • Completion of required sales records, ensuring all information is correct and accurate
  • Completing dispense line hygiene procedure to a scheduled journey plan;
  • To respond to and resolve customer Emergency Calls;
  • Accurate management of equipment stocks in district;
  • Accurate recording of Diageo Ireland assets in trade;
  • Stock and equipment reporting in trade;
  • Product Quality Tracking and reporting;
  • To carry out Age of Beer reporting and return beer tagging;
  • To build and maintain strong customer relationships;
  • To assist with outlet refurbishments and system upgrades when required;
  • To carry out tap resites when required;
  • The installation and withdrawal of dispense equipment to include permanent and temporary equipment when required;
  • Delivery and placement of POS material and basic merchandising when required;
  • All of the above to be completed to company standard and within all specified SLA’s;
  • To operate in an effective, efficient and professional manner when completing all tasks and representing CPM and client;
  • To work within industry health and safety standards;

Requirements

Experience:

  • 3 years experience of working in the on trade sector
  • 3 years experience of customer facing role
  • Experience using hand-held devices
  • Experience working with tools
  • Experience diagnosing faults

Qualifications:

  • Education to Leaving Certificate
  • Qualification in a trade is desirable
