Job Description
Collect, curate, and disseminate current and forecasted risk intelligence in a timely manner to partners and stakeholders. Analysts provide strategic foresight and analysis on security and operational concerns that may pose a safety risk to the client, its employees, or community. Intelligence products established on this project are built using the principles of the intelligence lifecycle and demonstrate strong logic and reasoning. The goal is to continue this operational service without disruption.
} Deliver high-quality risk analysis.
} Be able to demonstrate strong knowledge and understanding of major political, operational and security risk issues in key markets and leveraging this understanding to provide direct advice to the client.
} Write high-quality analytical pieces of variable length and on a wide range of markets and issues, relevant to the client’s business.
} Develop and apply subject-matter expertise for example related to: sector-specific issues, anti-bribery and corruption, stakeholder analysis and engagement, market-entry and investment risk, enterprise risk management and crisis management, to name a few.
} Respond in a timely manner to the client’s requests for analytical support around political, regulatory, operational or security risk issues.
} Drive consistent, high-quality, client-focused consulting work delivered within agreed timelines using creative solutions in terms of (verbal and written) format and technology; ensuring client satisfaction and capturing ‘lessons learned’ by driving a structured client feedback process.
Requirements
} A bachelor’s degree in history, political science, international relations, intelligence analysis, criminal justice, regional studies, or a related discipline
} Extensive years of relevant work experience in consulting and/or an emerging market
} Proven ability to accurately draw conclusions by synthesizing raw data and information from multiple, unrelated sources into a finished comprehensive product
} A strong customer service focus and ability to build and maintain trusting relationships
} Ability to be a positive and effective team leader
} Ability to effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritise
} Previous professional experience of political, security and/or operational risk analysis and/or consulting
} Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills
} Strong Microsoft Office skills
