Reporting to the Supply Chain amp; Logistics Manager this is a Fixed Term Part-Time (3 days per week) Contract for 12 monthsand is based in Maynooth[1] within the SCU unit of the Corporate Service Division. A minimum of one day per week (every Monday) is required in the office. For the other working days, an application can be made for hybrid working under our hybrid working policy and will be reviewed in line with the SCU team agreement.

Any candidate offered a job with Trócaire will be expected to sign Trócaire’s Safeguarding Policies and Global Code of Conduct as an appendix to their contract of employment and agree to conduct themselves in accordance with the provisions of these documents. All offers of employment will be subject to pre-employment checks including satisfactory references and appropriate screening (e.g. police/garda vetting, counter terrorism and anti-trafficking). Trócaire also participates in the Inter Agency Misconduct Disclosure Scheme and all employees will be subject to this as part of contract of employment.

Key Duties amp; Responsibilities

Central Admin Support

  • Be Trócaire’s focal point regarding travel bookings. This includes acting as the day-to-day contact with our dedicated travel management provider, assisting the supply chain manager in providing oversight on all travel bookings and booking flights and assisting bookers where/if required.
  • Administer centralised contracts including (but not limited to) archiving, shredding, translations and interpretations, stationery and office supplies, taxi services and hotel/accommodation bookings.
  • Support the supply chain manager with updating and consolidating various procurement related data including supplier registrations, contracts, GDPR agreements, derogations, and collating reports.
  • Quarterly carbon data collection and reporting.
  • Provide various other administrative tasks for Trócaire including preparing requisitions and POs in Agresso, data entry into salesforce and other.
  • Cover reception desk duties on a rotation basis and for at least one day per week including welcoming visitors and receiving donations and deliveries.
