Kepak is one of Europe’s leading food innovators, engaged in marketing a range of products and brands both direct to consumer and B2B. Due to our fast paced, dynamic business environment we have an exciting new opportunity for a talented and ambitious individual to join our Brand Marketing Team.

Role Purpose

We are seeking a junior marketer that will work alongside the Snr Brand Manager to manage our portfolio of brands across the UK and Ireland.

Working as part of a vibrant and enthusiastic award-winning Marketing team, you will gain experience working with both established brands and in the creation and set up of new brands. You will support in developing and managing the brand strategies and innovation plans based on Ramp;D priorities and market needs. You will play a key role in managing innovation projects and brand communications strategy through from idea to launch.

There will be opportunities to work with some of the leading creative and strategic agencies in the Irish and UK market - including Packaging, Research, Media, and Creative agencies.

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Be a key player participating in strategic amp; brand building projects
  • Play a key role in ensuring the brands have a clear vision, position and product portfolio generated through consumer insight and brand tracking to maximize penetration
  • Work alongside the Senior Brand Manager to direct the design and execution of research. Be responsible for the in-depth analysis of our ongoing consumer amp; market insights, be able to identify consumer needs, future trends, new developments and provide insights and recommended action to support the brand amp; our portfolio
  • Play an important role in the innovation process, working with the Snr Brand Manager to ensure the innovation roadmap and products launched are based on consumer insights and ladder back to the brand amp; category strategy
  • Lead the packaging design process including both brand creation amp; NPD/EPD packaging projects, championing the process and projects within the business
  • Provide salient consumer learnings to develop successful brand comms platforms. Drive development of campaigns that resonate with consumers in partnership with the brand activation team
  • In-store excellence, deliver best-in-class instore executions and drive effective packaging that stands out
  • Manage external agencies ensuring creation of quality briefs, projects that run to timings and objectives
  • Working cross-functionally will be key to the success of this role including Agency partners, NPD, Culinary, Category, Operational, Technical and the wider Commercial Team
  • Manage, optimize, and adapt brand budgets as needed
  • Track amp; measure success of brand initiatives leading Post Launch reviews and distilling sales data into actionable insights to lead continuous improvement project workstreams, including EPD and brand comms.

Requirements

What we are looking for?

  • 3rd level qualification in Business, Marketing, or a related discipline
  • 1-3 years of Marketing and /or Commercial experience
  • FMCG experience preferred
  • Great communicator with strong interpersonal skills and an ability to build close collaborative working relationships with agencies, internal amp; external teams
  • A passionate and committed individual with a strong drive for results is required
  • A balance of strategic amp; creative outlook with strong project management skills
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to turn data into actionable insights

  • Valid passport and willingness to travel abroad for short periods of time if required.
