Ryanair are recruiting Finance Manager - Flight Operations to join Europe’s Largest Airline Group.
This role is an excellent opportunity for an individual with strong analytical skills to work within the FOPs Dept, a key function of Ryanair. The successful candidate will play an integral role in the planning and forecasting required to fuel our growth to 600 aircraft and 225m passengers over the next 4 years.
The role is to provide 'real time' support and analysis, to be a trusted adviser and add value that will assist senior management in decision making. A key to their success will be an ability to communicate their message, to understand their audience and deliver the information in a clear and user friendly manner.
The role has responsibilities with regards to budgeting, forecasting, project reporting, business case planning, and supporting management in the achievement of the Company Strategy and Business Plan.
You will be responsible for:
- Management Reporting with a focus on Pilot cost items which are in excess of 1B per annum.
- Organising budgeting and forecasting for a number a business units
- Production of high-level financial reports, forecasts amp; financial modelling
- Optimal crew and fleet planning and forecasting
- Providing analysis and delivering insight that supports decision making
- Ad-hoc projects
Requirements
- Ideally a qualified or part qualified accountant
- Strong analytical, problem solving and modelling skills
- Advanced knowledge of Excel and Smartsheets
- High degree of initiative, strong interpersonal and communications skills
- Proven track record in delivery with a demonstrated ability in managing multiple tasks
- Ability to execute tactical project-level activities
