We are hiring a Group Learning amp; Development Specialist responsible for analysing short and long-term goals of each of CluneTech’s businesses and defining the training needs that will enable the achievement of organisational objectives.

CluneTech offer a flexible working environment however, the ideal candidate must be available to attend our Kilkenny HQ on an as required basis.

The Learning amp; Development Specialist will be responsible for:

  • Creating Lamp;D Programmes for each business within CluneTech, tailored to their specific business requirement.
  • Ensuring specific business Lamp;D initiatives and programmes link to an overall Group Lamp;D plan.
  • Analysing short and long-term goals of CluneTech’s businesses and defining the training needs that will enable achievement of goals.
  • Implementing Lamp;D plans/programmes/initiatives that develop high performing employees and enable employees to constantly evolve and develop to be their best.
  • Manage online learning platforms and other technologies that meet the requirements of our key user groups, ensuring course maintenance and updates are carried out throughout the year.
  • Design and deliver training content at all levels of the Group as required.
  • Present and facilitate classroom learning experiences that drive behaviour change, enhance performance and which create a positive impact for our employees.
  • Arrange and organise quarterly learning schedules for the overall Group highlighting key internal and/or external training sessions.
  • Partner with business leaders, SME amp; HR to understand the needs of the employee population and identify possible performance gaps which could be addressed.
  • Develop and run programmes that deliver on our strategic approach to enhancing the skills, experiences and knowledge that our employees need now, and into the future.
  • Gather, conduct and evaluate programme performance, identify points of improvement, and develop clear and compelling solutions and strategies from the findings, which will enable the business to achieve and sustain a competitive advantage by improving employee efficiency.
  • Optimise the impact of training initiatives by effectively communicating Lamp;D internally and externally to support the retention and attraction of employees.
  • Develop CluneTech Group Academy with an expanding portfolio of bespoke training programmes such as effective line management, technology and innovation, agile management and aligning with external colleges and universities to support training needs and internship programmes
  • Design and implement a mentorship programme to mentor employees with the potential to advance and motivate/support and retain them with the business.
  • Support succession planning via internal development and in-house mentorship programme.
  • Develop robust career paths for employee groups which align with our Performance Management systems.
  • Identify and manage cost-effective vendors that can help deliver training and development.e

Requirements

Skills/Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree (master’s degree preferred) in Training amp; Development, Education, Human Resources, Psychology, Business, or any other related field.
  • Must have experience in a training and development capacity in a large and complex business setting, preferably Fintech.
  • Experience in a Consulting or internal Lamp;D role focused on manager competence and employee development and retention.
  • Proven ability to run a needs analysis in order to determine the most relevant learning objectives.
  • Prior experience taking global content and localizing effectively.
  • Skilled facilitator, comfortable presenting to groups both virtually and in person.
  • Experienced at developing plans that are aligned with both the employee strategy, and the goals and priorities of relevant teams and partners.
  • Strong project planning skills.
  • Commercial awareness and focus on growth.
