Keywords Dublin, based in Leopardstown is where the Keywords success story all began in 1998. The Dublin Studio now employs 400 employees across a range of Service Lines in Dublin among them: Localisation QA, Localisation as well as Shared Services teams including HR, IT, Finance, Legal, GDPR amp; Marketing.
Reporting directly to the European Regional Managing Director, the Studio Operations Manager’s main mission will be to ensure all Shared Services for the Dublin Studio are properly scaled, well organised and will offer the level of service required by all Production Service Lines with a Servant Leadership mindset.
The Studio Operations Manager will be responsible for all Facilities amp; Health and Safety needs (including Safety Statement updates, Risk Assessments, coordinating Hamp;S Training etc.) in the Studio, with the support of the Office Manager. They will ensure all is well organized and aligned with the Production and staff needs. They will ensure the space is always right sized to the Studio’s short and long-term needs. This will include overseeing the potential creation of new spaces, renovations of current ones or even the downsizing of others. OPEX and CAPEX budgets for the Studios will also need to be reviewed and monitored by the Studio Operations Manager.
By being the main point of contact and through collaboration with all Service Lines and Group Functions Managers, the Studio Operations Manager will be encouraging and promoting the deployment of Shared Services, along with consistent group Leadership Principles, values, missions, guidelines, policies, or initiatives and will work at ensuring they are properly implemented, rolled out and followed accordingly. In coordination with Finance, HR, IT and Legal, the Studio Operations Manager will also oversee all administrative and corporate governance related needs in the Studio.
The Studio Operations Manager will always look for opportunities to provide better or build new Shared Services, always in support to the Production’s needs. Examples could be helping to set up a new Service Line within the Studio or supporting opening a new Studio in the city/country.
The Studio Operations Manager will be the voice of the Studio in the Region and the voice of the Group in the Studio. As such, they will oversee and ensure the communication within the Studio is flowing and is efficient across the different Service Lines, between Shared Services and Service Lines Groups as well as with all employees. By promoting a culture of transparency and constant communication, the Studio Operations Manager will ensure all employees are aware of the main happenings within the Studio or the Group while working on promoting the Group as needed.
Importantly, they will ensure that all initiatives in the region are consistent with maximizing the wellbeing of our staff and communities. As such, the Studio Operations Manager will be a key leader for any Engagement, Corporate Social Responsibility or Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging efforts, by supporting with vision and ideas, the Regional and local teams already in place. The person will be helping the organization of internal and external events for employees, arranging employee perks, and activities aligned with our Corporate Social Responsibility values and missions, building relationships with colleagues, local businesses, and charitable organizations.
Finally, the Studio Operations Manager may be required to support Regional initiatives within the Europe s Region in support to the Regional Director Europe
Requirements
The ideal candidate for this role should have good communication and organizational skill and a previous experience as Office Manager in an international company, possibly in the gaming industry.
