CluneTech are hiring a Group Financial Controller. We offer a flexible working environment however, the ideal candidate must be available for at lesat two days per week to attend our Kilkenny HQ. Reporting directly into the CEO.
As Group Financial Controller, you will be responsible for:
- Providing effective day to day oversight of the Groups operations, controls and financial performance.
- Management of the year end audit and Group consolidation.
- Management of all tax/statutory returns for the business.
- Preparation of reliable current and forecasting reports.
- Monitor and direct the implementation of strategic business plans.
- Preparation of the management accounts.
- Supporting annual budgeting processes.
- Variance analysis.
- Maintain in depth relationships with all members of the management team and support in implementing operation efficiencies.
- Assist with improving efficiencies within the finance function.
- Manage a team where required.
- Any ad-hoc duties as required.
Requirements
- At least 6 years' experience in the finance industry.
- Qualified Accountant (ACCA, CIMA, CPA, ACA)
- Self-motivated with excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal) - need to communicate to all levels within the business.
- Excellent planning and organisation skills, ability to multi-task, plan and prioritise work schedule and work within agreed timescales. Proven track record of interpreting large volumes of data.
- Ability to efficiently establish priorities and effectively meet deadlines
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast paced environment.
- Excellent attention to detail and an ability to analyse and interrogate high volumes of data as well as demonstrating an ability to focus on higher level overview.
- Commercial awareness with ability to demonstrate a sound knowledge of wider business factors.
- Have strong financial and analytical acumen as well as excellent Project Management and communication skills.
- Demonstrated initiative with strong work ethic.
