Job Description

The HRBP is responsible for ensuring that managers and employees receive expertise and support across all HR functions. The HRBP will assist leaders to drive people capability, improve business performance and support the creation of a company culture aligned to company values.


Responsibilities

  • Using data and insights, create appropriate HR strategies and initiatives to enhance the capability, engagement, performance and culture of the business
  • Use data to make decisions and influence the right decisions for the business and the people
  • Build partnerships with stakeholders to lead strategic HR initiatives which have the intention to shape culture and drive employee engagement
  • Lead management teams to display role model leadership behaviour through embedding feedback and coaching relationships
  • Work as part of a connected HR team to drive forward collectively our key HR processes and deliverables in a consistent way aligned with our culture and values
  • Support the wider HR Team by sharing insight, knowledge and experiences
  • Coach managers on employee relations, performance management, policy and change functions.
  • Collaborate with the Training amp; OD Manager to implement talent management and succession planning strategies
  • Diagnose root cause of performance issues and embed required changes to resolve them
  • Prepare the monthly and biweekly payroll via People XD (HRIS) and time amp; attendance system
  • Ensure payroll is processed in line with current legislation
  • Measure and report on the impact of interventions against best practice in order to drive improvements


Requirements

  • Third-levell Business/HR qualification
  • CIPD qualified/part qualified desirable
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work well within a team environment and on own initiative
  • Prior experience/knowledge of the construction industry advantageous
  • Ability to handle confidential information and escalate issues when appropriate
  • Practical experience of discipline and grievance processes and good knowledge of up-to-date employment law essential
  • Experience of and comfortable with working in a continuously changing and evolving environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Computer literate, especially in MS Excel and MS Word
