The Role

At Abi, we are looking for a CSM / Key Account Manager to play a critical role in building relationships with significant clients as we approach a period of high-growth and international expansion. You will join a dynamic and client-obsessed team that generates significant contributions to Abi’s growth.

Our ideal candidate will ensure client satisfaction and be able to identify new opportunities to increase sales. As a CSM/KAM, you will represent our company and interact with major clients, using your excellent communication skills and customer service attitude. Ultimately, you will be responsible for achieving sales quota and strategic account targets.

Objectives

You are expected to:

Manage a strategic client portfolio

  • Build a relationship of trust.
  • Understand and track customer objectives (ROI tracking).
  • Evaluate customer engagement by assessing satisfaction and NPS.
  • Ensure a high usage rate of the platform.
  • Collaborate with the Tech amp; Product teams
  • Act as a client advocate by identifying and communicating to the Product team any weaknesses or opportunities for platform development.

  • Develop an expansion strategy

  • Build and develop trusting relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Find ways to grow the account and work on expansion strategies.

  • Tasks

    Success Part:

    • Responsible for a portfolio of 25-35 Enterprise customers.
    • Communicating with major clients on a regular basis and responding to specific queries.
    • Establishing strong, long-term client relationships.
    • Improving customer retention metrics (adoption, retention, engagement).
    • Becoming an Abi product champion, hence effectively guiding customers towards their desired outcomes.
    • Identifying, improving, and leading all aspects of the health status of each assigned customers.
    • Suggesting solutions and innovative ideas to meet client needs.


    KAM Part:

    • Developing new business opportunities with existing clients and/or identifying areas of improvement.
    • Managing cross-functional/cross-company stakeholders in building business cases, proposal preparation, and financial approval.
    • Negotiating contracts and closing agreements to maximize profits.
    • Monitoring sales performance metrics.
    • Preparing monthly, quarterly and annual reports and forecasts.

    Requirements

    You are available for a full-time role based in Ireland, the UK or Spain. You will be working in a hybrid model or remotely.

    Skills amp; Experience

    • Insurance or Pharmaceuticals background is mandatory.
    • 4 - 8 years of experience, at least 3 in a customer-facing role (Account Manager, CSM, KAM, ...).
    • Experience in B2B with key accounts is essential.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with an aptitude for building strong client relationships.
    • Strong negotiation skills with a problem-solving attitude.
    • Comfortable working with data sets, manipulating and interpreting them with ease.
    • Business fluent in English.
    • Availability to travel as needed.
    • BSc degree in Sales, Business Administration, or relevant field.
    • You are able to juggle multiple tasks at the same time, and you can both prepare and execute very detailed project plans.
