What to expect in the job?

  • Analysing company processes and procedures.
  • Investigating shortfalls, issues, and complaints in current business processes.
  • Establishing norms and standards of company performance.
  • Monitoring staff performance and organisational processes
  • Managing staff cohorts and teams of various sizes.
  • Staying up-to-date with developments in management and process optimisation.
  • Continuously develop and improve operational processes by introducing industry proven continuous improvement methodology
  • Able to apply continuous improvement practices, including value stream optimization, to eliminate waste·
  • Effectively manage process improvement projects and workstreams as part of wider larger projects, including budgets and project plans.
  • Coach, mentor and motivate business teams in Lean-based process improvement, Root Cause Analysis, 5S, Kaizen and workshop facilitation techniques
  • Responsible for maintaining, updating, applying work measurement values to an industry defined best practice
  • Responsible for maintaining productive relationships with all key stakeholders
  • Works cross functionally to ensure end to end supply chain cost control is understood and decisions are made that give end to end supply chain benefits
  • Any other duties as required by management and within the competency of the post holder.

Requirements

What we need from you?

  • Five years' experience in process optimisation, operations, or business management.
  • A record of successful implementation of operational improvements
  • A sharp eye for identifying weak points in processes and organisational structures.
  • A strategic and analytical mindset.
  • An excellent communicator with top-notch presentation skills.
  • A thorough understanding of the latest process enhancement strategies.
  • Dynamic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Leadership and mentoring skills.
  • Confidence in your abilities to lead organisational change.
