We’re Hiring Maintenance Technicians

Purpose of the role
As a Maintenance Technician, you will perform daily maintenance tasks in a semiconductor cleanroom environment while supporting the Customer in key areas throughout the manufacturing process. Your goal will be to adhere to facility standard operating procedures with a focus on safety and quality. Your success will contribute to the facilities overall throughput while simultaneously developing your own skills in a coveted and highly technical industry.
Requirements
- A technical and/or mechanical qualification (NFQ Level 6 or higher)
- Have a minimum of 2 years as an equipment maintenance technician performing scheduled PMs and repairs
- Experience in a production environment, particularly as it relates to automation technology
- Possess multiple skills in the areas of fluid power, manufacturing processes, electrical, electronics, and mechanical systems
- Possess a deep understanding of Ethernet communication, Control Logic, and Programmable Logic Control (PLC)
- Demonstrate knowledge concerning general safety protocol and procedures regarding field operations
- Possess broad-based knowledge to successfully troubleshoot, diagnose, and solve problems that relate to mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, etc.
- Knowledge in the areas of computers and electronics which relates to circuit boards, processors, chips, electronic equipment, computer software and hardware
- Mechanical knowledge concerning machines and tools
- Understanding troubleshooting in determining the causes of operating errors and knowing what to do spontaneously
- specifications and best practices
- Must be able to read and interpret technical manuals and documents
- Knowledge of root cause analysis methodology and continuous improvement programs highly desirable
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft office
- Ability to work a 4-shift cycle, 12-hour shifts (day amp; night including weekends)
- Work in a controlled cleanroom environment, which will involve the wearing of a gown and relevant personal protective equipment
What you will be doing
- Undertake emergency troubleshooting on mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic equipment to determine problems associated with the machines
- Scheduled preventative and un-scheduled corrective maintenance of Semiconductor manufacturing equipment
- Accurate reporting of failure mechanisms of equipment and systems whilst following detailed work-based instructions and procedures
- Maintaining cleanroom and company protocols
- Ensuring safety and quality standards are maintained
- Performing quality checks in line with process specifications
- Using MS Office and in-house computer system as required
