LetsGetChecked is looking for a Buyer Planner to join our team. You will be a key member of the Supply Chain team and contribute both operationally and strategically to the development of the direct materials supply base to meet the needs of the site(s).

• Be able to perform capacity planning and schedule planning for the Laboratories based on anticipated customer orders plus sales projections
• Sources, purchases and schedules the movement of raw materials, packaging materials and related material through production and inventory processes.
• Works within a given budget to purchase goods and services
• Create purchase orders and tally these with supply requests and orders
• Ensure inventory levels are maintained at appropriate safety stock levels to meet production requirements
• In collaboration with the Operations team, Quality amp; Compliance; co-ordinate amp; manage the supplier and materials selection process with supplier agreements and contracts put in place when amp; where applicable
• Ensure that all material delivery schedules are communicated to the suppliers on time in order to meet planned requirements
• Monitor performance of suppliers
• Enters data concerning inventory and order amounts into a computer database
• Participate on cross functional projects team to support details of procurement requirements

• 3rd Level Qualification required - Technical, Manufacturing, Business or relevant experience
• 2-4 years’ of relevant experience
• Experience working with SAP
• Clear understanding of budgeting / forecasting and effects of cost savings
• Excellent communication, negotiation amp; problem-solving skills
