Job Description

Our Graduate Programme is designed to support our Graduates in their roles, progressing their development and providing access to key knowledge across the business.

The Graduate Planner is responsible for supporting the Planning Team with the management of planning applications for large-scale residential and mixed-use developments. The location of the role will be confirmed prior to commencement date and will be subject to operational needs.


Key responsibilities and duties

  • Writing reports and assisting in compiling and writing documents to go into planning applications
  • Assist with the preparation and progression of planning application reports
  • Liaise with local planning authorities, external consultants and site teams
  • Develop knowledge of industry-standard software packages
  • Assess planning applications and monitoring outcomes
  • Report weekly and monthly data and information to site teams, key stakeholders and partners
  • Maintain a professional image for the company in all dealings with public and stakeholders
  • Other ad hoc duties that the Company may require from time to time

Requirements

  • Recent graduate of Level 7 or Level 8 qualification in Architectural Technology (Additional course of project Management desirable)
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Flexible and adaptable
  • Quality focused
  • Highly collaborative with strong interpersonal skills
  • Ambitious and hard working with a can do attitude
  • IT Literate
