Position: Technical Field Consultant
Location: Dublin
Contract: Permanent, Full Time
Salary: 28,125, per annum Paid Monthly
Report to: Area Technical Manager
Job Purpose
The Technical Field Consultant (TFC) is a field based role and designed to offer outstanding expert Technical competencies to help drive the technical agenda through the business by facilitating;
- Development of new business
- Business quality assurance and compliance
- Business support
- Technical input into Pest Control and associated Divisions
- Customer support
- Local operations technical training

Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparation of Critical Appraisals for selected sites as notified. These may be existing or prospective clients.
- Infestation management within their designated areas. Assessing selected sites, preparing/supporting Action Plans for Operations to implement. Overseeing Operations activities to ensure infestations are controlled.
- Carrying out quality assurance inspections on work done by Technicians.
- Monitoring and acting on field quality work issues.
- Carry out Colleague Assessments on new technical field staff before commencement of going solo.
- Acting as technical point of contact for Front Line Colleagues and customers.
- Delivering technical training courses as appropriate to the business objectives.
- Invigilation and marking of examinations.
- Delivering and implementing the Technical Innovation Plan.
- Carrying out any other reasonable duties that may arise in performing the job.
Requirements:
- Over 3 year’s traceable practical pest control experience
- Extensive knowledge of Irish pest species
- Extensive knowledge of Irish legislation in respect of pest control practices
- Field Biologist or equivalent currently holding Rentokil Level 3 qualification
- Experience of delivering training courses to large groups
- IT literate with working knowledge of Google docs, sheets, forms, sites and present.
