Job Description

We are looking for a General Manager for Europe, Middle East and Africa, with proven experience leading a global brand across multiple countries. This person will oversee the growth of the Tinder business and brand in EMEA. This is a high-impact role that will report directly to Tinder’s CEO.
Location: Dublin, Ireland Key Responsibilities include:
  • Responsible for developing and driving a multi-year EMEA business growth strategy
  • Responsible for delivering marketing efficacy against regional goals and fiscal management of regional budgets, measured in brand health and business growth
  • Responsible for annual and quarterly marketing planning, including country investment strategies, local product initiatives, partnerships, paid media, and marketing innovation
  • Responsible for regional marketing budget
  • Responsible for regional operational structure, processes, headcount planning, performance reviews, and career development of EMEA team
  • Collaborate with other cross-functional teams within Tinder (Product, Engineering, DEI, etc)
  • Responsible for clear understanding of local consumer insights as it relates to marketing, product usage amp; needs, cultural nuances, and user behaviour
  • Collaborate with Product to identify opportunities for better product-market fit as it relates to needed feature sets, pricing, localisation
  • Partner with Comms to deliver proactive pan-EMEA PR strategies
What we’re looking for:
  • Tinder seeks a world-class, strategy-focused General Manager to lead the development of the Tinder EMEA business. They will have proven experience running a multi-country region, and have deep experience in building and shaping the world’s best brands
  • The Tinder GM, EMEA will have a high degree of analytical expertise, and an ability to build data-informed business and marketing strategies
  • The Tinder GM, EMEA will show an affinity for product partnership and collaboration
  • The Tinder GM, EMEA will exhibit scrappiness the ability to accompany strategic instincts with a ‘sleeves rolled up’ clear sense of purpose, execution, and delivery and fit with Tinder’s high energy, transparent and candid culture
  • Experience working on consumer tech brands is ideal for this role, especially within mobile/apps and subscription business models
  • The Tinder GM, EMEA must have the ability to frequently travel to various European markets to work with the teams on the ground and to LA HQ.
Performance and personal competencies required for the position - Setting Strategy:
  • The ability to create and articulate an inspiring vision for the organization, not only for the areas s/he is directly responsible for, but the enterprise as a whole
  • Experience in developing and driving a multi-year business growth strategy
  • Experience working in Europe and specifically driving multi-country / pan-European strategies
  • A deep understanding of marketing strategy, from creative execution to paid media
  • Proven track record in driving growth through product strategy, from localisation to monetization
  • Experience in setting up team structures and processes to create maximum impact, communication clarity, and impact
  • The inclination to seek and analyze data from a variety of sources to support decisions and to align others with the organization's overall strategy
  • An entrepreneurial and creative approach to developing new, innovative ideas that will stretch the organization and push the boundaries within the industry
