An opportunity has arisen for a Senior Associate - Xplan Application Specialist in the Information Systems (IS) department. Reporting to the Xplan Applications Manager you will collaborate with the Xplan team in IS to deliver durable and fit for purpose solutions on the Xplan platform that meet the operational and CRM needs of the Wealth Management business in ROI and UK.
Key Responsibilities:
- Gather business requirements, analyse, and design technical solutions that meet these requirements with a strong emphasis on implementing operational efficiencies that deliver productivity gains to end users.
- Develop strong working relationships that facilitate a deep understanding of business challenges and opportunities.
- Provide Xplan application support through working with vendors and internal support teams to resolve technical and user issues during product migration and BAU.
- Assist in release updates and upgrades to IT systems, including testing of software changes and delivery of training to end users.
- Log, investigate and manage queries through JIRA, escalating problems as required.
- Work with multi-functional teams across Development, Product Management, QA, Service Delivery and DevOps.
- Provide timely status updates to management and business owners.
- Document processes, user procedures, requirements applications and IT infrastructure.
- Comply with the Risk and Compliance frameworks, policies and procedures associated with the role.
Requirements
Essential
- A Computer Science/Information Technology related degree
- A minimum of 3 years’ relevant industry experience with a proven track record of working in a technical analytical role
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Previous experience of supporting enterprise systems
- Strong technology skills with a solid foundation of analysis and documentation techniques such as data modelling, as-is and to-be process workflows
- Strong stakeholder management skills
- Ability to prioritise workloads and handle multiple deadlines
- Broad experience working with 3rd party solution providers
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 product set and high level of computer literacy
- Experience of agile methodologies
- Formal post grad qualifications in Business analysis
- Experience working in a Fintech environment
- Experience with Atlassian products
- Experience of SQL and relational database structures.
- Experience of User Acceptance Testing
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Must be a team player.
