Job Description

Ryanair are currently recruiting for a Inflight Crew Planning Manager to join Europe’s Largest Airline!

Reporting to the Director of Inflight, the Inflight Crew Planning Manager will be responsible for the delivery of cabin crew rosters, managing the Crew Planning team, and ensuring that the cabin crew rosters are fully compliant with EASA and other governing authorities regulations.

Main Duties / Responsibilities

  • Manage the Crew Planning Department to ensure efficient planning of all crew rosters to ensure that all rosters are fully compliant under EASA regulations.
  • Ensure all Crew Planning files such as legality files and training records are up to date.
  • Work closely with the Inflight Coordination Manager and Inflight Training Dept to ensure that there is adequate staffing levels at all locations and crew are appropriately trained.
  • Management of Annual Leave planning for all crew to ensure sufficient coverage at all times
  • Winter planning and ensuring that any unpaid leave and Winter part time is sufficiently distributed
  • Reviewing and approval of all job share and special roster arrangements
  • Overseeing the Crew Planning Zendesk queries and liaising with Inflight Regional Heads when required to identify any trends or ongoing issues
  • Ensuring that all payroll reports are sent correctly and in advance of given deadlines.
  • Ongoing review of all crew data to ensure this is correct and up to date
  • Managing any SAP workflows that require actioning from the Crew Planning dept
  • Liaising with Crew Control to ensure that rosters have sufficient cover and standbys
  • Drafting and issuing of Rostering Management reports.
  • Attend audits with the Irish Aviation Authority, Civil Aviation Authority and Transport Malta.
  • Conduct Cabin Crew Rostering Audits when required.
  • Work closely with the various departments to implement new procedures when required
  • Work closely with the IT department to ensure Inflight Operation projects are prioritized and established. Also maintenance of current systems such as the Annual Leave system and Inflight Ops Qlik.
  • Ensuring the Crew Planning team are fully trained and have a strong knowledge of the current FTL scheme.
  • Attending weekly ROCS and Annual Leave meetings in order to ensure Crew Planning requirements are met.
  • Continual review to ensure that ‘out of base’ activity is a minimum.
  • Running daily Netline/ BI and Annual Leave reports including hours reports, unpaid leave reports and checking the quality of the rosters.

Requirements

  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Familiar with Ryanair Operations Manual Part A and CH 7.(only can be used if advertised internally)
  • Computer Literate and competent with Word, Excel, Netline and related hardware.
  • Experience producing documents and written reports.
  • Be familiar with the legislation by various governing authorities and local legislation
  • Good people and time management skillss
