Trócaire works in partnership with local and church organisations, supporting communities in over 20 developing countries across Africa, Asia, Latin America and the Middle East to bring about lasting change. The Standards amp; Compliance Unit is the focal point within Trócaire that co-ordinates the management of policies, the risk framework and donor due diligence requirements and regulatory compliance. The unit tracks the regulations and standards applicable to the organisation, and the individual positions and teams that lead on these regulations and standards. The unit is also responsible for Supply Chain Management policy and Data Protection policy.
The Head of Standards amp; Compliance provides Trócaire’s leadership with an overview of compliance risk and performance, identifies areas requiring focus and resourcing, and works to co-ordinate policies and procedures in a manner which reduces the compliance burden on the organisation.
There are currently 5 people in the Standards amp; Compliance team including Head of Standards amp; Compliance, Compliance Officer, Supply Chain and Logistics Manager and two Central Administrators.
Reporting to Director of Corporate Services, this can be a Full or Part Time specified purpose contract and can be based in Maynooth or Belfast with remote working options [1].
