The Role:

As we continue to experience significant growth following a successful MBO in 2018, we continue to expand our team.

As part of our growth strategy, we plan to expand our Human Resources practice in Ireland. We wish to recruit a Training Specialist on a part time basis for a 12-month contract within the HR team. The role will run the Learning and Development function for the Company as well as supporting HR.

This is an exciting opportunity for you to join a long established, reputable, successful, and progressive organisation operating in a rapidly expanding market.


In this job, the successful candidate will be carrying out a combination of instructor led client specific training and coordination of partner-based training and certification. The role will also involve new hire onboarding. Initially working remotely, with onsite delivery in the classroom returning soon.

This is a part-time role, with some flexibility with regards weekly hours.


Key responsibilities:

  • Design, implement and deliver relevant training programmes to ensure compliance with ISO, GDPR, Hamp;S, our Partners requirements and career development.
  • Quality of training should be of a high standard producing an engaging learning experience.
  • Co-ordinate the learning and development plans for Ireland and Spain.
  • Track performance against training plans.
  • Define and implement the evaluation plan for each programme to build our current capabilities and build for the future.
  • Conducts Learning Needs Analysis and Gap Assessments.
  • Scheduling of learning events, training courses and exams.
  • Minimise use of external vendors.
  • Manage our Partners skills requirements and ensure we upskill to meet required competency levels.
  • Tracking attendance and maintaining individual training records and skills matrices.
  • Manage participant communication.
  • Deliver and co-ordinate our Company induction sessions.
  • Produce monthly training reports and all training related materials.
  • Focuses on continuous improvement on training materials, programs and processes.
  • Research relevant trends that align with the priorities of the business and the Lamp;D function.


Requirements

Experience and Qualifications:

  • Strong working experience within a similar type Training position.
  • Experienced in the delivery of training in classroom and remote.
  • Degree/Diploma Human Resources/Learning and Development.
  • Train the Trainer National Certification essential.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to interact with all key stakeholder groups.
  • Strong administrative and organisational skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office including Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Fluency in English, both verbally and written and also Spanish would be an advantage.
  • A genuine passion for training and IT.
  • ‘Team’ Work Ethic.
  • Attention to detail with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Capacity to work on own initiative.
  • Ability to multi-task.
  • Previous background in training amp; documentation.
  • Familiarity with the ADDIE Model of instructional design.
  • Experience in Learning Management System use.
  • Irish drivers license would be an advantage.
