Client Reporting Manager
As the Demand Supply Planner, you will be responsible for supporting the ongoing demand forecasting for the Operations Business units. You will assist in planning and organizing the supply of products and consumables while optimizing inventory levels and accurate forecasting models.
Responsibilities
- Create a framework to forecast all consumable and finished stock requirements across all manufacturing functions.
- Maintain, monitor and adapt the forecast to factor in both internal and external market conditions.
- Review historical sales trends, research demand drivers, prepare forecast data, develop forecast models, and evaluate forecast results.
- Communicate any recommendations to the wider business operations team.
- Proactively check for any potential supply shortages, create an action plan to address any challenges.
- Display key information in an easily digestible format utilizing the software tools available.
- Regularly monitor the data source, update it and ensure the information is clean and reliable.
- Develop inventory strategies to improve the supply chain process on existing items, new products, and product phase-outs.
- Refined systems and methods to continually improve forecasts so that the company can accurately forecast.
What we are looking for..
Minimum requirements:
- Minimum 2 years Demand/Supply Planning experience required
- Strong Microsoft Excel and data manipulation skills with the demonstrated ability to process into tangible outputs, recommendations and actions
- Sound commercial and business acumen
- Prior experience modelling
- Proactive with the ability to use own initiative
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to work on multiple tasks in parallel
- Excellent attention to detail
