The purpose of this role is to provide first level ICT Support to Trócaire staff in Ireland.
Reporting to IT Operations Manager, this is offered on a Specified Purpose Contract to cover a maternity leave (approx. 7 months) and is based in Maynooth.

Key Duties amp; Responsibilities
They will monitor the ICT helpdesk and will respond to calls logged for the Irish offices and for wider organisation when time allows. They will identify the nature of problems, determine appropriate action, priority and escalate if necessary.
They will set up new staff with accounts for Trócaire applications i.e. network, e-mail, Agresso, Salesforce, Box
They will ensure Staff details are recorded accurately and maintained in Active Directory.
They will install, maintain, troubleshoot, and enhance software applications and hardware.
They will carry out network checks and liaise with operations team to resolve network and connectivity issues.
They will monitor and test backups and ensure backups are rotated off site
They will set up new staff with appropriate client device i.e. laptop, desktop, tablet and rebuild client device if necessary.
They will ensure that client devices adhere to Trócaire security policies by enabling encryption and ensuring appropriate updates, Anti-Virus and policies are applied on all devices.
They will be responsible for IT purchasing and coordinating with local suppliers.
They will provide training to new staff on Trócaire IT processes and procedures.
They will carry out application training and documentation.
They will support technologies for video/tele conferencing deployed in Trócaire offices.
Generate reports and summary of activities if required.
To take on other duties that may be assigned by the IT Department.
