As a key component in the global financial services industry, Fenergo has comprehensive assurance requirements and are looking for an experienced professional to drive our shift left mentality and ensure we have an automated security by default framework for our cloud environments and infrastructure. This role will involve working with our teams for our single tenanted and multi-Tenanted products and ensuring our pipeline and environments are secured using automated tooling and to oversee that out checks and balances are not bypassed.
Main Responsibilities:
- Secure Azure and AWS environments.
- Automate and integrate security tooling into CI/CD pipelines at scale, including ensuring our Infrastructure as Code has appropriate security gates.
- Evaluate, implement, and operationalize additional tooling as needed.
- Feed into the product roadmaps to ensure security requirements are front and centre.
- Assess the products for security issues and drive remediation efforts.
- Provide assurance that Fenergos product security requirements are implemented and effective.
- Arbitrate critical decisions considering best practices, and business realities.
- Communicate security topics to product teams through training and technical demonstration of vulnerabilities and secure design patterns.
- Lead development of new product security features to support the security needs of both Fenergo and our customers.
- Improve engineering standards, tooling, and processes.
Requirements
- 5 years-experience in DevSecOps, Cloud Security, Penetration testing or similar.
- Previous experience in regulated industries, ideally Finance.
- Experience with securing AWS, AWS Native Services, Infrastructure as Code, Containerization, and Software Development processes.
- Excellent understanding of IT and Network Security Standards.
- Excellent understanding of automated deployments and auto-scaling applications.
- Experience building security into deployment pipelines.
- Experience with penetration testing a plus.
