Position: Central Operations Manager

Location: Remote

Contract: Permanent, Full Time

Are you our next Central Operations Manager?

Rentokil Initial is currently seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Central Operations Manager.

Job Purpose

The primary function of this role is to support, deliver operational effectiveness and operational projects for Rentokil Initial Ireland.

To act as the country lead for the delivery of operational excellence whilst driving the local operational teams to ensure operational competence, confidence, and compliance.

This role will take direction from the Country Managing Director and provide support to the Ireland Operational Managers, Branch Support Management, front line colleagues and our customer demands to ensure service delivery of the highest quality in the most efficient way. Working closely with our IT, Finance, Key Accounts, HR, Technical, Hamp;S, Fleet, and U+ Teams this role will ensure these teams receive the relevant operational support required to deliver any initiatives/projects that are required.

This role is part office/field and will require travel; there will be requirements for an overnight stay and you should have a true passion for service/operational excellence and training ideally coupled with a background in Rentokil Initial operations or support, project management, and Qlikview/Excel would be desirable.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

  • Project Manage key operational processes
  • Work alongside the operational teams to implement and share best practice
  • Work with the UK Central Operations Team to develop the current routing methodology for a planned delivery business
  • Work alongside the UK Fleet Team to ensure Masternaut and fleet compliance and identify any fleet requirements
  • Work alongside the UK U+ Team to provide requirements for operational online learning material and use the reporting supplied by the HR Team to help drive U+ completion compliance
  • Work alongside the Hamp;S and Technical Teams to identify any areas of risk, non-compliance, or a low knowledge base and support and drive the implementation of corrective actions.
  • Resolving operational challenges from the frontline operational teams
  • Work alongside the technical, finance, and marketing teams to understand the operational impact of new product launches and frequency changes
  • Use all tools available to deliver operational excellence
  • Offer relevant advice and recommendations and be able to review large data sets and spot business trends
  • Take ownership of operational queries and obtain a satisfactory conclusion
  • Update data appropriately so that a full history can be tracked and reviewed
  • Proactively chase relevant people before situations escalate into operational issues
  • Achieve and exceed pre-set team and individual targets as set by line manager
  • Provide excellent customer service at all times
  • Follow and ensure compliance with issued company procedures
  • Proactively seek to develop own skills by learning

Knowledge and Experience

  • An understanding of our Area Service model and the Rentokil Initial operational model
  • Some experience in project work as well as Excellent analytical skills
  • I.T Literate with a strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint and Google Suite
  • Understanding on iCABS as well as
  • Good knowledge amp; understanding of Company Policies and Procedures
  • Understanding and working of Servicetrak and the current support process
  • Good initiative and judgment skills
  • Team player, Customer Focus, and Excellent Communication skills
