Launched in January 2020, Fancy now covers 8 cities across the UK and we’re taking the learnings from these cities and our phenomenal customer base to accelerate growth and coverage rapidly. Role:
Fancy is hiring a Store Manager to work closely with the Regional team to build and grow the team and operations within your City! We are looking for an entrepreneurial self-starter, with experience managing people, who is passionate about driving performance. You will help us launch, grow and optimise our operations and deliver a next level customer experience.
Responsibilities:
- Recruit, train, coach and develop an Assistant Store Manager as well as a team of Store Associates and Shift Leads
- Role model the company values to the team to nurture a collaborative team culture
- Implement new processes and procedures to ensure optimal performance at your designated warehouse
- Oversee all operations including stock management, schedules, health, safety and hygiene
- Drive optimisation and efficiency of KPIs. This includes metrics such as delivery time, missing items, late orders and customer issues
- Train delivery drivers regularly reinforcing compliance requirements and ensuring exceptional customer experience
- Take the lead on customer communications and issue resolution
- Identify trends and issues and provide optimisation feedback to the wider team
Requirements
- Self starter that sees the potential for both the business and your own personal development
- Proven experience with managing and leading teams in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment
- Creative problem solver who has demonstrated strong initiative in a previous role
- Good decision maker, able to think on your feet as well as think in both the long and short term
- Demonstrates an ownership mentality with a keen desire to take ownership of ambitious targets
- Strong data and analytical skills; able to use metrics and insights to drive good business decisions
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Flexibility and willingness to work with fluid schedules; being available during peak hours of operation
