In 2019 we launched our first OOH campaign in the London underground and started our retail presence with a corner in London’s leading department store; Selfridges. Last year, we have introduced our sister company; Instant Dentist, to add a health and dental wellbeing dimension to our business. The business is growing in a very exciting direction this year and we’re looking for the next team member to embark on this journey with us.
About you
You are a friendly and enthusiastic dentist who is interested in including teledentistry in the way you practice dentistry. You want to help more people achieve their ideal smile and help patients improve their overall dental health. You want to challenge yourself by using technological tools in dentistry.
You’re available a minimum of a few hours a day to work and can offer consistency and dedication with the work done on the platform with the view to grow as a digital dentist.
You thrive in an environment that is fast-paced and challenging with positive growth and mindset culture. You are proficient in performing comprehensive checkups and complex dental procedures and are committed to the highest quality of patient care. You are detail-oriented, good at communicating in English verbal and written, analytical and highly passionate about delivering the best dental care for patients. On the side, you enjoy reading and researching the latest technology and materials that would help improve your dental practice.
About the role
What does a digital dentist do?
In a nutshell, you'll join a clinical team of forward thinking dentists responsible for supporting users on their teeth straightening treatment or dental consultation. Roles are based on expertise.
Dental consultation
You will be responsible for managing the delivery of digital screenings. This means assessing, evaluating, providing recommendations and follow-ups to support the patient with their dental needs through the application.
Aligner support
This means analysing the suitability of new cases, providing clinical support and follow-ups through the application. The role will be involved in aligner support, giving them the best experience possible.
Responsibilities
- Analyse new clinical case, assessing the suitability based on our clinical procedures
- Actively monitor and answer patients’ questions
- Provide clinical guidance and reassurance
- Prepare accurate and precise dental reports; evaluating general and specific dental concerns to educate patients as they come through in a timely way
- Work with the clinical team in a systematic and scalable way
Requirements
- Minimum of two years' experience working as a general dentist in a private practice
- Post-graduate (preferred)
- Available daily
- Proactive amp; self-directed
- Growth mindset, always willing to learn
- Patient centric approach, compassionate and caring for patients
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills and advanced written English
- Embrace challenges and able to deliver on deadlines
- Tech-savvy and familiar with some of the tools on this list (Google Docs, Gmail, Trello, Slack, Skitch)
- Ability to quickly adapt to new systems and software
