As a QA Engineer you will report to the Product Manager and will work closely with the development team to ensure that product development does not come at the expense of product quality.
Requirements
- Learn and document the capabilities of our guest room assistant, mobile app, casting and PBX products
- Write, maintain and execute test plans to exercise and verify product functionality
- Collaborate with developers to understand and enhance automated test coverage
- Discover edge-cases in product functionality where behaviour is undesirable or unexpected
- Perform API-level testing, system testing, load testing and white box testing
- Determine appropriate testing scope for minor releases and patches to guard against regression without requiring full test plan execution
- Reproduce bug reports from the field and document steps to reproduce
- Highlight usability amp; accessibility issues and suggest improvements
Personal Qualifications
- 5+ years of QA experience
- 2+ years of Automation experience an advantage
- 2+ years experience with any scripting language (Ruby or JavaScript preferable)
- Experience with products which combine cloud, hardware and software components
- Strong written and verbal communications skills
- Self-starter with the ability to investigate issues independently
- Proactive approach with positive, collaborative attitude
- BSc in Computer Science or equivalent preferable
