Job Description


Irish Diaspora Loan Fund, IDLF is looking for an experienced Marketing Manager to join the team as we go for growth in global markets. Responsibilities include but are not limited to, overseeing the marketing plan, budget and strategy implementation, managing partner campaigns, paid advertising campaigns, onsite SEO efforts and ensuring that all marketing materials are in line with our brand identity.

To be successful in this role, you should have hands-on experience owning campaigns from creation through to execution and reporting. Ultimately, you will help us build and maintain a strong and consistent brand through a wide range of online and offline marketing channels. We are looking for a passionate, creative and committed marketing professional.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement the marketing strategy in line with business strategy and objectives.
  • Experiment with a variety of organic and paid acquisition channels like content creation, content curation, pay per click campaigns, event management, publicity, social media, lead generation campaigns, copywriting, and performance analysis.
  • Conduct keyword research and identify gaps in our content to improve traffic and conversions via our website and blog.
  • Create relevant, timely content for target audiences. Build and execute a promotional strategy across effective channels.
  • Oversee and approve marketing material, from web design elements to print brochures and case studies.
  • Work closely with the sales and business development teams to tailor and extend our campaigns to local markets.
  • Build strategic relationships and partnerships with key industry players, agencies and vendors.
  • Prepare and monitor the marketing budget on a quarterly and annual basis and report on performance KPI’s on a monthly basis.
  • Closely monitor and report on the performance of marketing campaigns, assess against goals and optimise for conversion.
  • Perform competitive analysis and identify opportunities for market growth.


Requirements

The skills that you have:

  • Demonstrated experience in leading the execution of marketing strategy to achieve target goals.
  • Experience in leading a team and managing cross-functional projects.
  • Proven experience in identifying target audiences and in creatively devising and leading across channels marketing campaigns that engage, educate and motivate.
  • Solid knowledge of website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, NetInsight, Omniture, WebTrends).
  • Numerically literate, comfortable working with numbers, making sense of metrics and processing figures with spreadsheets.
  • A sense of aesthetics and a love for great copy and witty communication.
  • Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in online marketing and measurement.
  • A can-do attitude with an ambition to lead.
  • BSc/MSc degree in Marketing or related field.
