POSITION OVERVIEW
Glass Lewis amp; Co. is recruiting a Junior Analyst for one-year fixed-term contract on the European Research team commencing 1st June 2021. Ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate strong analytical writing and editing skills, have an interest in governance and ESG issues, and have the desire and ability to learn quickly. Some prior experience producing proxy research is required.
The Junior Analyst will produce research and voting advice on governance and compensation issues for institutional investors.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Write and edit research reports written by Research Associates for European markets. Some work on other global markets may be required.
- Contribute to additional research projects throughout the year, including preparation of policy guidelines, white papers, blogs and product enhancements.
- Participate in issuer engagements as requested.
- Provide guidance and oversight of Research Associates.
- Perform other related duties and tasks as necessary or as assigned.
Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS
- BA/BS degree and some experience producing proxy research.
- Desirable languages: Italian, French and/ or Russian.
- Attention to detail and qualitative research skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written).
- High level of proficiency with online applications and business software (MS Office).
