Job Description
An excellent opportunity has arisen within our credit control department for a payment agent. We are looking for highly motivated individual who is passionate about delivering excellent customer service. The role reports to the Credit Control Manager/Supervisor.
The payments team are responsible for processing incoming customer payments effectively and efficiently and offering customers appropriate plans and services.
The Job:
- Process incoming customer payments by phone through Cardeasi System
- Recommend appropriate products/services/plans to customers by providing clear, informative and expert advice with a confident and positive attitude
- Drive incoming call traffic to online self service facilities
- Resolve problems to customer satisfaction in a timely fashion and ensure root cause has been identified and communicated to the relevant department for corrective action
- Assist with managing returned direct debits
- Maintain and update customer database with accurate information
- Ensure procedures and compliance requirements are adhered to
- Support other team members with an enthusiastic, approachable attitude
- Achieve KPI targets as set by the line manager
- Any other ad hoc administrative duties that may arise
Requirements
- 2+ year’s customer service experience
- Confident, enthusiastic, customer focused individual with excellent communication skills
- Awareness of new GDPR rules
- Ability to work in a high call volume and target driven environment
- Team oriented with the ability to work on your own initiative
- Demonstrate excellent attention to detail
- Excellent organisational skills and have the ability to multi-task with ease
- Lead by example, be approachable and demonstrate a ‘’can do’’ attitude
- Desirable:
- Sales experience a distinct advantage
- Proven track record in a similar role
