Job Description

Security Risk Advisors, Inc. (SRA) is looking for a candidate to fill a dual role:


1 Information Technology Support Coordinator to provide IT expertise in deploying and supporting employee systems both on-site and remotely, and assist with the IT Support function within SRA. The IT Support Coordinate (Hybrid) will collaborate with other team members to provide timely solutions to user problems, provide information and recommendations regarding configurations and installations, and develop strategies for improving IT processes company wide.

2 Network Monitoring Cybersecurity Analyst who will be part of Security Risk Advisors’ CyberSOC Practice. This role will be involved in the day-to-day, 24x7, operations of the SOC. This is an opportunity to work with the SOC team and learn/use a wide variety of tool sets in diverse client organizations.

Progression and opportunities

  • Continue in role as described and avail of progression opportunities within the IT department
  • After (no less than) 1 year, move to a fulltime role in another SRA service line (Required to help source and train replacement)

Organisation of work time

Mon Fri (Times Ireland/UTC)

9:00 AM 1:20 PM SOC work (to include SRA internal security role, handover and other assigned client work by Shift lead) 4 Hrs.

Lunch: 1:20 PM 2:20 PM (1 Hr.)

2:20 PM 6:00 PM IT work (overlaps with US day and interface with US IT Department) 4 Hrs.

Note: Division of duties may vary from time to time depending on business needs.

Working primarily on-site at SRA’s Kilkenny office with some remote working to be introduced at a later date (with manager agreement)

Essential Functions SOC

Responsibilities: (Training provided)
• Eyes on glass security monitoring for threats.
• Respond to alerts, investigate to determine if they are true positive or false positive.
• Use the latest security monitoring technologies to detect malware and hackers.
• Use Security Information Event Management tools, Endpoint Detection amp; Response tools and Network Security Monitoring tools
• Thoroughly document work and present findings to management suitable for customer consumption.

Essential Functions - IT

  • Provide front-line technical support and education to on-site and remote employees by diagnosing and resolving software, hardware, mobile application, and telephone system issues.
  • Respond proactively to production issues (e.g. user needs, software and hardware updates, networked hardware installation). Follow up with internal customers to ensure their systems are functional.
  • Set up new employees with the correct access to systems and equipment.
  • Report user feedback and potential product requests.
  • Work with vendors to troubleshoot issues or to analyze new products.
  • Configure and install new computers using standard software image and packages. Migrate existing users from old to new hardware.
  • Move/Add/Change Activities, maintaining accounts for end users as directed by documented procedures and policies, software installs, and various IT requests.

Requirements
