SAP Integration Developer - PI/PO - Permanent - Dublin

We are currently seeking to recruit an experienced Senior SAP Integration (PI/PO) Developer for a permanent role with our growing consulting team in Ireland.
As the Senior SAP Integration Developer, you will play a key role in the design, development and implementation of integration technologies and strategies for Enterprise Service Integrations.
This position will entail implementing and supporting solutions in the rollout of SAP S/4 HANA projects for our customers while also supporting the existing customer base in the Client Solutions SAP COE ( Centre of Expertise) team.
The Role
- Design, implement and support enterprise integrations using SAP PI\PO Middleware.
- Be able to implement End-to-End integrations via any required developments in ABAP OO.
- Lead the integration design phase of all new projects to ensure requirements are met.
- Interact with business users/Teams to elicit requirements, design solutions, and technically implement end-to-end Enterprise Service Integrations.
- Technical documentation of integrated solution ( end-to-end ).
- Employ industry best practices for integration design and delivery.
- Sound Analytical and problems solving skills
- Collaboration between other divisional teams ( functional amp; technical ) to support requests for solutions/prototypes/requirements in those teams.
- Self-motivated in developing solutions to conclusion and to achieve high standards while doing so.
- Evaluation of integration technologies to meet customer requirements beyond SAP PI/PO middleware.
- Evaluation of new SAP based cloud integration technologies.
- Learn and adapt to new functionality/technology quickly; Also, able to explain technical information to technical or non-technical people.
Requirements
- Relevant computer science degree
- Strong experience, with 5-year’s demonstrable experience, in developing complex integrations using SAP PO/PI middleware and tools ( ESR, Integration Directory, Adapters (SFTP, REST, SOAP, File, HTTP, etc. ).
- SAP PO\PI Single Stack ( from 7.3 upwards )
- Strong fundamentals and experience in ABAP OO development including development of IDocs/Extensions/PROXY/BAPI’s/RFC’s/Web Services/API’s
- XML/JSON/XSD/WSDL/XLST/Java
- Keen interest in integration technologies.
- Related SAP Cloud experience beneficial but not essential.
- Good communication skills, own initiatives, self-motivated, able to work independently while also supporting and mentoring team members.
- Ability to collate and understand client requirements.
- Ability to produce clear well understood technical specifications for all work.
- Ability to share knowledge on the job.
