About the role:
We are currently seeking a Senior Technical Services Engineer to join our versatile team.
The Senior Technical Services Engineer is responsible for the development and improvement of service delivery processes, relationships and technologies in order to maximize client satisfaction with AMPLEXOR International.
Main Responsibilities:
- Develop approaches for system integration and process optimization.
- Determine/recommend best production processes and resources to be used for a given project/order to an SM from an external perspective.
- Investigate develop and present solutions that describe how a customer’s content will be localized using a combination of AMPLEXOR and industry tooling.
- Support the business development process for the estimation and analysis of electronic files for new projects and for answering technical questions during the sales process or quoting cycles.
- Discuss localization and internationalization best practices with prospects and clients.
- Educate internal and external clients on best production processes.
- Collaborate within virtual project or customer teams to manage the technical delivery of localized customer content.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement process through research and implementation of new tools and applications, ensuring training for all people involved in the projects.
- Collaborate with SM’s to troubleshoot project related challenges.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree.
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience, executing and leading the production portion of complex localization/translation projects with an on-line CAT Tool.
- CAT Tool Technical expertise is mandatory, preferably including XTM, Memsource, Memoq, WorldServer.
- Availability to work on a time schedule compatible with colleagues in USA.
- File filter configuration expertise, segmentation rules and Regex expertise.
- XML expertise.
- Back-end technical expertise.
- Development and coding is a plus.
