Job Description

Overview:

Due to continued success in our IT Resourcing division we are looking for an Account Manager to capitalise on our market position and drive growth. This will entail developing existing accounts and also working on new business development activities.

  • Develop assigned existing accounts to maximize the potential and revenue for each of them..
  • You will identify and qualify target accounts and develop plans to on-board these new accounts into the IT Resourcing business.
  • Have a direct style, be persistent and engaging during the sales process, and consult and influence the prospect during their decision-making.

This role will be essential to driving revenue growth and will carry a sales target.

Key Responsibilities:

  • The identification and profiling of strategic target accounts (with the support of the MD and the marketing team).
  • Making the initial approach to senior contacts within these accounts.
  • Creating and presenting proposals.
  • Nurturing these contacts and any opportunities that present.
  • Face to face meetings (Covid 19 permitting).
  • Introduce the Resourcing team to deliver on the opportunities.
  • Develop relationships with key decision makers to identify potential new opportunities.
  • Manage commercial aspects required, liaising closely with the Managing Director and Resourcing team.
  • Attend and present at prospect and customer meetings to aid business development.
  • Provide accurate forecast information regarding pipeline and projected revenue.
  • Research the IT resourcing market on a regular basis, keep abreast of industry best practice, trends, market intelligence and competitor offerings.
  • Comply with all internal administrative processes and liaise with the relevant operational functions as required.

Experience Required:

  • Minimum 5 years in Sales Account Management / Business Development Role.
  • Previous experience of IT Recruitment or IT services in the Irish market.

Education:

Relevant third level qualification and/or sales qualifications.

Soft Skills:

  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Honesty and Integrity.
  • Excellent organizational skills essential.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Project-driven work requirements with overtime as needed to meet deadlines.
