Systems Data Architect - Contract

Overview:

Ergo are seeking an experienced Systems amp; Data Architect for a short-term contract role in Dublin (remote at present). The successful Systems amp; Data Architect will be responsible for reviewing the current and future state system landscape, identifying integration potential, outlining integration possibilities and providing technical guidance on how to achieve a lean integration with the existing tools and systems on hand. Experience with ERP implementations is vital. This is a short-term contract which may suit independent consultants or those between contracts at present. Visa Sponsorship is not included and candidates must have EU passport or Stamp 4 Visa.

Key Role Responsibilities:

• Understand the ‘as is’ with existing systems and pain points and current ‘to be’ strategy against solution capabilities and limitations.
• Environment setup: Propose Design Environment setup in Power Platform across multiple systems and departments including HR, CRM, PowerBI, PowerApps.
• Guidance on best way to leverage Dataverse and Common Data Model across multiple systems (HR, CRM, ERP) and potentially between different ecosystems (Microsoft, Oracle, Salesforce)
• Advise on best-practice usage of Common Data Model in combination with Nonprofit Accelerator.
• Propose cost efficient reporting and data analytics system strategy e.g. Data warehouse, Data lakes, Direct from source.
• Define Data Modelling approach for Reporting and Data Analytics.#
• Propose system integration with existing in-house development solutions (ASP.NET and Microsoft SQL Server), e.g. APIs, Flat File exchange, Workflows.
• Recommend monitoring approach for the entire landscape re Governance and Security.

Desired Skillset:

• Experience in implementation of ERP or other large IT projects.
• Demonstrable System Architect skills in multi system environments.
• Consulting experience.
• Knowledge and experience of using Dynamics 365, Power Platform, Common Data Service, Non-Profit Accelerator.
• Business Intelligence and Data Warehousing experience.
• Independent from potential in-house developed solutions.
• Experience in the not-for-profit or public sectors and the functions of Finance, Procurement and Logistics desirable.
