The Development Utilities Manager is responsible for overseeing utility activities on a large number of active and pipeline projects while at the same time supporting, monitoring and auditing the delivery of utilities infrastructure on new and ongoing residential/ commercial developments.
- Managing the detailed design, application, and agreements of site utility services across a large portfolio of assets
- Developing and implementing strategic plans that align to thebusiness requirements
- Ensuring quality is at a consistently high level and pro-actively identify any quality issues
- Reporting on Quality Assurance requirements - to include records of services amp; infrastructure completed in line with the relevant codes of practice by liaising with the QA department and making recommendations where required to ensure quality standards are adhered to
- Coordinating, chairing and attending meetings as required with third party stakeholders both within and external to the Company
- Developing and maintaining thorough knowledge and understanding of project deliverables and contractual requirements
- Communicating with the project delivery teams throughout project execution manage, maintain, and resolve across the entire portfolio of assets with a key focus on ensuring delivery of business objectives in line with the projected programme
- Establishing appropriate relationships and communication with project team members, suppliers and key stakeholders to ensure the project quality plan, requirements, and expectations are clearly outlined, understood and obtained
- In collaboration with other stakeholders, prepare, review, and report on their relevant area of responsibility
- Providing timely reports on quality matters for individual projects
- Other ad-hoc duties as the Company may require from time to time
Requirements
- Degree / Higher Diploma qualification in Project Management/ Engineering
- Significant experience working within utilities sector at a management level with proven track record in delivery high end projects and solutions from concept through to delivery
- Ability to meet and manage tight/ delegate time effectively across multiple projects
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills
- Strong Stakeholder management skills
