Production Administrator

The Production Administrator is responsible for supporting all Production operations with administrative support to the entire Production Team.


Responsibilities
  • Maintenance of the Production Manual amp; Catalogue.
  • Work with the Inventory Administrator to improve Inventory Management on the production floor.
  • Responsible for keeping the BOM updated in the ERP system.
  • Clearly communicate any BOM changes in ERP with other stakeholders.
  • Maintenance of all Production related SOPs and WIs.
  • Maintenance and improvement of levels of stock accuracy amp; product quality through providing proper materials and instructions to all Production Staff.
  • Assistance in Production, Quality and Inventory related projects.
  • Management of all the equipment amp; office-related items within the Production environment.
  • Working with Warehouse amp; Inventory teams in order to ensure all stock within the Production Area is up to date. Participation in cycle counts of all inventory
  • Ensure all consumables are in stock with a compliant expiry date to meet the daily production targets. Identify and communicate all shortages/discrepancies to ensure inventory accuracy
  • Complete all necessary paperwork on a daily basis, including necessary computer transactions using specific forms and procedures dealing with inventory movement through department.
  • Follow company safety practices and procedures to provide a safe work environment for all employees.
  • Perform all other essential duties as directed by the Production Manager and help in the Production Area as required, instructed or requested.
What we are looking for
  • Successful candidate must have a wide knowledge of all LGC products and procedures.
  • Proficient in Microsoft office particularly data analysis using Excel, including the use of formulas, charts and pivot tables.
  • Excellent attention to detail, thorough in approach, checks work systematically to ensure it is sufficiently detailed and reliable.
  • Adaptable, demonstrates a willingness to take the initiative with problems and opportunities.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills. Proven leadership and motivational ability.
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Quality Engineering, Life Sciences or related field.
  • Familiarity with FDA GMP/QSR; ISO 13485 and medical standards is required.
