As a key component in the global financial services industry, Fenergo has comprehensive assurance requirements and are looking for an experienced professional to drive this function. This role will involve working with clients as part of pre-sales security assurance, facilitating client audits, carrying out internal audits and ensuring compliance with legislative, contractual and internal security requirements across Fenergo's product range.
Main Responsibilities:
- Ensuring and providing assurance for compliance with relevant security legislation e.g. NIS Directive.
- Ensuring and providing assurance for compliance with technical security controls for relevant privacy legislation e.g. GDPR, APRA.
- Identifying beneficial external certifications, implementing these certifications and facilitating ongoing maintenance and assurance audits e.g. ISO 27001, SOC II, CSA STAR.
- Ensuring and providing assurance for compliance with contractually required security controls for our clients.
- Supporting Fenergo's clients by responding to client due diligence questionnaires and RFPs.
- Conducting security risk reviews of new IaaS, PaaS and SaaS services in use within Fenergo.
- Working with teams to ensure business processes are secure.
- Meeting with, and providing reports to, clients and other stakeholders as required.
Requirements
The successful candidate will need
- 5 years-experience in audit, assurance, compliance or other relevant functions.
- Previous experience in regulated industries, ideally Finance.
- Previous experience reviewing and providing assurance on security requirements across different stakeholders.
- Relevant security training (CISSP, CISA, CRISC, GCCC, ISO 27001 Lead Auditor, etc).
- Previous experience in client facing roles.
- Good understanding of IT and Network Security Standards
