Ryanair are currently recruiting for a Head of Training to join the Engineering Team of Europe's largest airline group.
The Ryanair Engineering Academy is taking on over 1000 trainee's a year.
The successful candidate should be a highly skilled and experienced individual capable to lead the Engineering Training department. As the Head of Training, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the highest standards of safety, technical excellence, and regulatory compliance across Ryanair's engineering operations.
Main Responsibilities:
Training Program Management:
- Oversee the development and implementation of comprehensive training programs for engineering staff, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify training needs and develop customized training solutions.
- Monitor the effectiveness of training programs through regular assessments and feedback mechanisms.
Regulatory Compliance:
- Stay abreast of regulatory changes and ensure that engineering operations remain compliant with all relevant aviation regulations, including EASA and CAA requirements.
- Act as the point of contact for regulatory authorities regarding training matters.
Team Leadership and Development:
- Provide strong leadership to the Engineering Training team throughout Europe, fostering a culture of excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- Mentor and develop team members, providing guidance and support to enhance their technical skills and professional growth.
Requirements
- 5+ years management experience with at least 3 years in an aircraft maintenance or engineering background, with a strong background in technical standards and regulatory compliance.
- Proven track record of developing and implementing training programs in a complex and dynamic operational environment.
- In-depth knowledge of aviation regulations, particularly EASA and CAA requirements (Part 66, Part 147)
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail and a commitment to quality and safety.
- Holding a degree in Aeronautical Engineering , or an EASA Part 66 license would be an advantage
- Experience writing reports for Senior Management and Directors.
