Job Description

As the Senior Technical Engineer, you will play an essential role within a highly skilled team of technical experts and engineers. You will be instrumental in assessing and implementing technical and statutory requirements for customer-facing engineering activities while upholding the highest standard of engineering professionalism.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

· Technical Leadership: Provide technical expertise and leadership in the maintenance and troubleshooting of LPG Calor-owned assets at customer sites, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.

· Regulatory Compliance: Stay abreast of relevant regulations, codes, and standards governing Calor-owned assets at customer sites and ensure adherence to these requirements in all engineering activities. Ongoing interaction with regulatory bodies.

· Risk Management: Identify and assess potential risks associated with Calor-owned assets at customer sites, develop mitigation strategies, and implement measures to minimize risks to personnel, property, and the environment.

· Leadership: Lead, project manage and support engineering projects related to Calor-owned assets at customer sites, including planning, budgeting, resource allocation, and coordination with internal teams and external stakeholders.

· Quality Assurance: Implement quality assurance processes to ensure the reliability, safety, and performance of LPG systems, including inspections, audits, and documentation.

· Training and Development: Provide mentorship and training to junior engineers and foster a culture of continuous learning and professional development within the team.

· Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process optimization, efficiency improvements, and technological advancements in LPG engineering practices, and drive initiatives to enhance overall performance.

Benefits

· Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or chemical engineering or a related field. Master's degree preferred.

· Minimum of 10 years of experience in engineering roles with a focus on gas delivery and storage systems, preferably in the energy sector.
