We are looking for an ambitious Technical Lead with the ability to drive the development and implementation of our technology solutions and ensuring the successful delivery of projects and above all, are passionate about what you do. We need someone who is passionate about technical leadership, as well as someone who is hands on with the Architecture/code of the platform to lead the development of our platform through a high growth phase for the business. This role will suit a motivated and ambitious individual, who is looking to make a big impact.
Requirements
In this role you will:
- Collaborating with the team of software engineers in designing, developing, testing, and deploying high-quality software solutions for our product.
- Analysing project briefs, requirements, and deliverables to ensure alignment with business objectives and client needs
- Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, testers and other stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical specifications and actionable plans.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation.
- Drive the adoption of modern development methodologies, tools, and technologies to improve efficiency, quality, and speed of delivery.
- Conduct code reviews, performance optimizations, and troubleshooting to ensure the reliability and performance of our software applications.
- Coordinating and scheduling training sessions for both new employees and existing technical staff, ensuring ongoing skill development

- Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory requirements relevant to the FinTech domain, and proactively incorporate them into our technical strategy.
- Implement sound engineering practices such as continuous delivery, defensive programming, and automated testing.

- Be a team player and embed yourself in the team to work with others to ensure great products are delivered.
- You have implemented best practice and coding standards
- 7+years of experience in software development, with a proven track record of technical leadership and project delivery
- An understanding of APIs, both building and supporting.
- Strong C# - we use .net core.
- Strong experience in UI technologies, we use vue.js, typescript and Vuetify.
- Data storage experience such as Entity Framework, Azure Blobs, Azure Queues.
- Azure experience such as Functions, Key Vault and ARM/Bicep.
- Worked in a Scrum/Agile methodology environment
Nice to have (Industry Background)
- Previous experience in a Fintech SaaS space
