The Opportunity
You will form part of the Global Hub on Partnership amp; Localisation an innovative, global team that is driving Trócaire’s ambitious commitment to locally led development and humanitarian action. You will offer technical expertise, alongside skilled and experienced colleagues, to advance localisation internally within Tr ó caire and externally in the sector more broadly. As Localisation Advisor Funding amp; Resources, you will be responsible for driving the organisation’s strategic work on localisation under Outcome 4 (funding amp; resources) while also influencing donor practices and policies at global level.
The role will report to the Global Director Partnership amp; Localisation, with a dotted line to the Global Partnership amp; Funding Manager.

Requirements
You will report to Global Director Partnership amp; Localisation, with a dotted line to the Global Partnership amp; Funding Manager. The job opportunity will be offered on a fixed, two-year contract with the possibility of extension and can based in Kenya (Nairobi), Rwanda (Kigali) or Ireland (Maynooth).
We’d love if you have previous international experience, experience working with local and national partners, skills in resource mobilisation, compliance, and grant management, and experience influencing donor policies and practices from a localisation lens. We hope you’ll bring demonstrated experience of working with local organisations in transformative processes that strengthened their capacities and levels of funding.
