The Revenue Forecasting Analyst is responsible for providing support to the Reporting Manager amp; Sales Team to maintain up to date revenue and associated costs so business can provide financial forecasts and revise revenue targets in response to actual and anticipated market demand/events.

Key responsibilities and duties

  • Interacting cross functionally with internal departments to coordinate and oversee the forecast process for assigned sites, be responsible for driving continuous improvement in forecasting accuracy and forecasting processes to positively impact sales and margin
  • Highest level of problem-solving skills and be versed in best practice demand forecasting methods.
  • Manage portfolio of sites in Solver Reporting system to include initial setup of site, units amp; update for any changes agreed to exit strategy
  • Prepare Quarterly Forecasts amp; Annual Strat plan for Revenue and associated costs to tight deadlines for own portfolio of sites
  • Prepare weekly amp; monthly Sales Reports for distribution to senior management
  • Approve Architect Schedules of Accommodation in Aconex system, liaise with pre sales for sign off on draft dot maps for future sites
  • Liaise with Pre Sales Senior-Manager amp; relevant quantity surveyor to prepare Part V sign off forms for approval by Operations Manager
  • Help to Buy ensure sites amp; relevant units are sent to Finance to setup in ROS before units are launched on site. Approve claims in ROS, address any queries, update solicitor and relevant closer amp; ensure Dynamics is updated when claims are approved
  • Continually seek, report, evaluate, and drive improvements in forecasting, planning amp; budgeting processes
  • Liaise with internal amp; external auditors in relation to sales processes
  • Attend team meetings and contribute to the overall success of the team through sharing of information and effective teamwork
  • Maintain a professional image for the company in all dealings with public and stakeholders
  • Other ad hoc duties that the Company may require from time to time.

Requirements

  • Background in Finance/Business
  • Planning and Forecasting experience
  • Proven understanding of forecast methodologies
  • Strong organisational amp; time management skills
  • Attention to detail essential
  • Ability to present findings in a clear manner
  • Proficient in Microsoft office
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and with cross-functional teams.
