The Opportunity

The Fundraising amp; Marketing Team is responsible for raising public income, recruiting new supporters, retaining existing supporters and growing our relevance by creating a better connection with Trócaire’s work and its impact.

The Marketing Campaigns Manager is responsible for the strategy and implementation of Trócaire’s integrated fundraising amp; marketing campaigns to deliver income of almost 11m per annum.

Requirements

Reporting to the Head of Fundraising amp; Marketing, the Marketing Campaigns Manager will be part of the Famp;M management team and will lead a team of 5 professionals: Lent Officer, Christmas amp; Gifts Officer, Schools amp; Community Officer, Brand Manager, Famp;M Assistant.

The Role: Key Duties amp; Responsibilities

Campaign Strategy

  • Work with the Head of Famp;M as part of the management team to build the overall Famp;M strategy with a focus on driving net income through our key pillars: Relevance, Retention amp; Recruitment.
  • Own the overall strategy for the Marketing Campaigns team including the two largest campaigns delivering almost 11m of public income.
  • Lead the development of insight-driven strategies for new campaign propositions development exploring new channels of income and optimising current campaigns revenue.
  • Oversee the timely evaluation of campaigns to ascertain return on investment and learning to drive future growth.
  • Financial management for the Marketing Campaign team including income and expenditure budgets, return on investment, projections, quarterly revisions, and evaluation.
  • Monitor and benchmark external environment to ensure Trócaire is at the forefront of development in fundraising and income generation.

External Partners amp; Collaboration

  • Drive, manage and inspire our agency partners to co-create innovative and engaging campaigns.
  • Build strong relationships with Famp;M colleagues and across the organisation.
  • Lead cross functional project teams as required.

Brand Management

  • Drive organisational adoption of the new overarching brand proposition for Trócaire - Together for a Just World.
  • Act as a Brand Champion across the organisation and oversee the efforts to pro-actively support colleagues to implement the organisation’s brand strategy and create brand aligned resources.

Team Management

  • Lead the Marketing Campaigns team to ensure the successful delivery of the strategic plan and achievement of public income and engagement targets.
  • Manage, support, and empower the team to deliver on strategic objectives and KPIs.
  • Develop a culture of success and ownership within own sub team and contribute to the wider Famp;M Team, with individuals operating at a high level of expertise in their respective areas and being personally accountable for the performance of their campaign / projects.
  • Ensure the team is maximising systems, processes, and ways of working to deliver optimal results from all marketing activity, ensuring campaigns are delivered on time and within budget.

Essential Requirements

Experience

  • 5+ years’ experience in a fundraising or marketing position leading fully integrated large scale marketing campaigns.
  • Experience in working with third parties to deliver brand strategy.
  • Proven track record in delivering results in a competitive environment
