THE ROLE

We're looking for a Senior Content Designer to join our pool of freelancing consultants. This is an opportunity to lead projects that require content, design and user research experience as well as communication and messaging skills.

Roles may be on-site, hybrid or remote depending on client’s requirements.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

You’ll work on projects to:

• Identify content to remove/keep/update/improve/archive/delete
• Identify new content to create
• Support content production
• Support content publication and testing

Requirements

WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO THE TEAM

We’re looking for Senior Content Designers (freelance) who can:

• Use analytics and other research techniques to evaluate content and design to identify user experience issues
• Research and create realistic and coherent content strategies
• Present research findings readily understandable manner to non-experts
• Create high quality research/delivery artefacts, e.g. content inventory, personas
• Make web content readable and understandable to a high standard, e.g. via plain language
• Make web content findable to a high standard, e.g. labelling, IA, navigation
• Make web tasks actionable to a high standard, e.g. via interaction design

• Plan, manage and report your own workload
• Manage stakeholders and project communication
• Plan and run discovery workshops
• Produce clear activity and delivery roadmap

IT WOULD BE USEFUL TO HAVE

• The skills to make web tasks actionable to a high standard, e.g. via interaction design
• Google Analytics, search console and related web management tools
• Experience with Content Management Systems
