Job Description

CluneTech is currently hiring a Financial Account (part qualified) to join the team. This role will report directly into the Group Financial Controller.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Conduct monthly and yearly closing activities for Group.
  • Assist in the development of the monthly management reporting pack for Group ensuring the continuous and accurate maintenance of the general ledger and timely reconciliation of all sub accounts and intercompany balances.
  • Participate in process improvement initiatives and implementation of best practices to ensure the finance team is consistently pushing the boundaries in terms of efficiency and accuracy.
  • Business partnering with cross-functional stakeholders to implement new and efficient processes and effective controls.
  • Participate in the annual budget and forecasting process.
  • Assistance with the preparation of Corporation tax and VAT computations.
  • Co-ordinate external audit activities.
  • Cash-flow forecasting.
  • Participate in ad hoc global projects as required.
  • Any other appropriate duties as required by line manager.

Requirements

Skills:

  • Part qualified/qualified Financial Accountant
  • 2+ years’ experience in professional services environment.
  • Strong IT skills, particularly MS-Excel and a modern accounting/ERP system (ideally SAP).
  • Excellent work ethic and be willing to go the extra mile for your colleagues each and every day.
  • Self-motivated with excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Excellent planning and organisation skills, ability to multi-task, plan and prioritise work schedule and work within agreed timescales.
  • Excellent attention to detail and an ability to analyse and interrogate high volumes of data.
