UKGis seeking a motivated, practical and solution-oriented attorney with 3-7 years of regulatory or product compliance experience, ideally in the banking, credit card payments and processing, employee payroll, or money services industries, to drive regulatory and product compliance matters in Ireland, U.K., U.S., Canada and Europe. This role will primarily focus on the review, research and counseling of a wide variety of government licensing, reporting and other regulatory compliance requirements in Ireland, U.K., U.S., Canada and other jurisdictions around the globe relating to the company’s diverse offerings, including client payroll and tax remittance services.

In this role, you will provide vital legal and operational support within the Legal Department’s Product Compliance Team on a wide range of legal matters affecting the managed services verticals around the globe. You will work closely with our AML, Treasury, and Managed Services teams and in conjunction with other internal partners in our Product, Information Security, Cloud, Finance and other teams.

Responsibilities:

· Manage day-to-day legal responsibilities associated with UKG’s international payroll services business, including licensing and registration-related activities, coordination with outside counsel, and customer/other stakeholder engagement;

· Communicate with international partners and vendors relating to contracted services and negotiate applicable terms and conditions where appropriate;

· Partner with UKG’s Legal, Managed Services, Anti-Money Laundering, Treasury, and Product teams in connection UKG’s global payroll services business;

· Develop policies, procedures, and techniques to support international business operations;

· Support ad hoc projects as required in a variety of legal practice areas to support global business, including software development.

Requirements

· Banking, credit card payments and processing, payroll services, or money movement experience considered a plus;

· Experience identifying and analyzing legal issues and providing practical legal guidance to business stakeholders in a complex, global business environment;

· Exceptional research, writing and counseling skills, with proven experience advising clients on regulatory and/or product compliance related matters;

· Skilled in developing and/or implementing corporate policies and procedures in accordance with applicable law and regulations;

· Knowledgeable and experienced handling government licensing, registration, reporting, examination and auditing matters;

· Self-starter able to work in a very fast paced, changing environment with ability to multi-task and manage competing priorities;

· Strong communication skills and ability to engage effectively with a variety of levels and audiences;

· Collaborative and team-oriented, with ability and confidence necessary to work both independently and as part of a group, as well as across multiple functions;

· Comfortable supervising and coordinating with outside counsel and consultants in a variety of subject areas.
