The HR Manager will report to the Site Manager with a dotted line report to the HR Director, Red Meat / People Operations Manager, Red Meat UK/HR Director, Foods

ROLE PURPOSE:

To lead the People Agenda on site, and deliver on the organisational strategy to create a Great Place to Work in Kepak

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:

- In line with the Group People Strategy, to design and implement a site HR strategy to support the management team to deliver on its business objectives.

- Provide a HR service to drive a best in class employee experience across the employee life cycle, including recruitment, induction, engagement, development, reward and recognition.

- Implement Group policies and procedures in line with best practice.

- Act as a champion for performance management, including Enhancing Performance, at site, working alongside the management team to embed high performance and talent development as a way of working.

- Manage the training function to ensure that all training and development needs are being met with tailored training plans to enhance the workforce’s capabilities, skills and performance to support site goals.

- Act as an integral part of the Group HR team, contributing to the ongoing development and implementation of people initiatives.

- Support the site management team on strategic workforce planning; understanding current risks and opportunities, future skills requirement, identifying gaps and designing solutions to deliver on organizational goals.

- Coach and develop the site management team to enhance their people management skills, driving productivity, engagement and inclusivity.

- Manage the site HR team to promote a best in class HR service, and facilitate development and progression within the function.

- Report relevant and timely people metrics to the site management team to provide insight, improve communication and drive performance.

- Champion the Kepak Values on site, promoting our winning ambition to create a great place to work

- A site Training plan which is reflective of the needs of the business

Requirements

- A Third Level HR Qualification or similar

- 3-5 years experience in HR
